2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
-
Manage waitlists, applications, invitations, and ticketed registrations.
-
Communicate with you about events, including logistics and follow-up.
-
Accommodate dietary and accessibility needs.
-
Process payments for ticketed events.
-
Share limited information with vendors and sponsors where necessary to deliver an event.
-
Facilitate connection among guests at the same dinner, as described in Section 3 below.
-

-
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Disclosure to Third Parties & Fellow Guests
Core Series Dinners (non-ticketed):
As part of the curated, connection-based design of the Luminary Dinner Series, if you are invited to a core dinner:
-
Sponsors of that specific dinner receive the guest list for that event, limited to names and email addresses, solely to support their sponsorship of that dinner. Sponsors are contractually required to keep this information confidential and are prohibited from sharing, selling, or otherwise using it beyond that purpose.
-
Fellow guests attending that same dinner receive the guest list for that event, limited to names and email addresses, consistent with the Series' purpose of fostering genuine connection among attendees.
We do not share guest phone numbers with sponsors or fellow guests.
By accepting an invitation to a core dinner, you consent to your name and email address being shared with that dinner's sponsors and fellow guests on this basis.
Ticketed Events (Luminary High Tea, Reunion & other designated paid events):
-
We maintain the attendee database for ticketed events internally and do not share it guest-to-guest.
-
Where a ticketed event has sponsors, we share attendee information with those sponsors only, limited to what's necessary to support their sponsorship, subject to the same confidentiality requirement described above.
All Events:
We may also share information with venues, vendors (e.g., photographers, caterers) limited to what's needed to deliver the event, payment processors (for ticketed events), and legal or regulatory authorities where required by law. We do not otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent.
4. Data Storage & Cross-Border Transfer
-
Our website and related tools may store information on servers located outside Canada. Where this is the case, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is stored, including lawful access by foreign authorities. By using this website, you acknowledge this possibility.
5. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
